I am a doctoral researcher and fellow at Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Graduate School of Law (AMBSL), Universität Hamburg. â€‹My research interests lie in the area of cybercrime law, comparative criminal procedural law and human rights law. My doctoral research focuses on the automation of evidence examination in comparative criminal procedural law. I examine the impacts of the automated evidence analysis on the criminal trial, the defence participation and the fair trial in particular.

Before joining to AMBSL, I worked as a legal researcher at the Centre for IT & IP Law, Faculty of Law and Criminology, KU Leuven. I conducted research on the EU privacy and data protection law and the regulation of artificial intelligence within the framework of interdisciplinary research projects.
